Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie stepped out in Austria together on the same day as the King’s official birthday celebrations.

While the Royal Family gathered in London for Trooping the Colour, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie went to a different event on Saturday.

The two sisters attended a Schwarzenberg family wedding at Saint Charles Church in Vienna, the Austrian capital.

The 37-year-old Beatrice and 36-year-old Eugenie have maintained a lower profile in recent years.

The pair have largely stayed out of the spotlight following controversy surrounding their parents, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson, and their association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

However, the princesses appear to be stepping back into public life.

Just over a week ago, on June 6, both attended their cousin Peter Phillips' wedding ceremony at All Saints' Church in Kemble, Gloucestershire.

Eugenie, who is expecting her third child with husband Jack Brooksbank, was photographed in central London on May 6, shortly after announcing her pregnancy.

The sisters had also been seen dining together in Mayfair on May 1.

Prior to that, Eugenie made her first public appearance in several months at a society wedding in Sicily on April 25.

Their mother, the Duchess of York, was herself spotted in Austria earlier this year, staying at an exclusive ski apartment in Altaussee near Salzburg on April 16, costing £2,000 per night.

This marked Ms Ferguson's first public sighting since 2025 and followed the release of the Epstein files, which prominently featured her name alongside her former husband.

Both Beatrice and Eugenie are understood to have received invitations from King Charles to attend Royal Ascot.

The sisters could potentially feature in the official carriage procession and join guests in the Royal Enclosure at this month's racing event.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson have not been invited to Ascot as the Royal Family continue to keep their distance from the former couple.
