Incoming Manchester United chief executive Omar Berrada is already at work - unofficially.

Berrada is beginning his job later in the summer, but is already taking phone calls and meetings related to United.

Per the Manchester Evening News, he has held clandestine meetings that United figures did not even know about.

He is keen to maintain working relationships with the people at City to ensure his contacts in the game remain in place.

Berrada wants to see Jason Wilcox from Southampton come in as a technical director, having worked with him at City.

United are also pushing to hire Dan Ashworth as their sporting director from Newcastle United.
