INDUSTRIAL real estate developer Berthaphil Inc. is expanding by 4.1 hectares in the Clark Freeport Zone, formalizing the move through a supplemental lease agreement signed with the Clark Development Corp. (CDC) on June 23.
The Clark Freeport Zone spans Angeles City, Mabalacat and Porac in Pampanga, and Capas and Bamban in Tarlac.
Founded in 1995, Berthaphil — the first investor in the Clark Freeport Zone — has built and managed 11 properties in the property — covering about 45 hectares, hosting more than 400 companies and constructing over 250 buildings across Clark’s economic, freeport and airport zones.
It currently manages eight business parks, leases to over 300 locators and employs more than 20,000 people.
“We reaffirm our pledge to invest our capital and resources in Clark,” said Berthaphil President and CEO Andrew Schwartz.
CDC President and CEO Agnes Devanadera said the expansion strengthens Clark’s position as an investment and employment hub, citing its relevance to the Luzon Economic Corridor and the upcoming Pax Silica project.
“Today, Clark is not just Clark — it is the gateway to the Luzon Economic Corridor,” she said.
