
KOTA BELUD: A bicycle rim pierced the left foot of an 11-year-old boy in Kampung Siasai Tamu, here, Tuesday.
The 5.20pm incident required the aid of emergency response team and specialised equipment to free the child.

Upon reaching, rescuers found the boy’s left foot pierced by the metal bicycle rim and worked quickly to partially dismantle the bicycle before the boy was transported to the Kota Belud Hospital in an ambulance for further treatment.

Using a hydraulic cutter, the team carefully removed the remaining metal rim, allowing doctors to proceed with treatment.
