An Australian politician interrupted a live interview to shout at his dog to “sit down”.
Former deputy prime minister Barnaby Joyce, who has defected to the Right-wing party One Nation, was speaking to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) on Monday (20 July) night when the now-viral incident occurred.
Mr Joyce, who was defending party leader Pauline Hanson’s decision to meet with Tommy Robinson, paused responding to a question before loudly yelling at his dog to behave.
“Sorry… it’s the dog,” he explained before resuming his answer.
