- During the broadcast, he paused his response to a question to loudly instruct his dog to 'sit down'.
- He apologised for the interruption, explaining, 'Sorry… it’s the dog,' before resuming the interview.
- The incident occurred while Joyce was defending One Nation leader Pauline Hanson's meeting with Tommy Robinson.
