Premier League clubs have been scrambling for the signature of Brereton Diaz, but Villarreal have won the race to pick him up as a free agent.
Diaz is out of contract in the summer and had been tipped for a move to a Premier League side this month.
Blackburn were standing firm in not wanting to sell this month, but that has allowed Diaz to speak with foreign clubs about a move this summer.
And transfer expert Fabrizio Romano now claims a 'full agreement' is in place for Diaz to join Villarreal this summer.
