KENINGAU: A fruit storage warehouse in Sri Jutaya, Kampung Bakiau along Jalan Tenom was destroyed in a fire on Sunday afternoon.
The Fire and Rescue Department received an emergency call at 3.09pm and arrived at the scene within two minutes, with the fire brought under control at 4.12pm and operations ending at 6.28pm.
The operations commander reported that the permanent structure measuring 200 by 40 square feet was completely destroyed, while four vehicles were also affected.
Two Toyota Vigo vehicles were completely burnt, while a Proton Saga and a Toyota Hiace were each 70 per cent damaged, and no casualties were reported.
