
BEAUFORT: The body of a 20-year-old identified as Boy Abdullah, who fell and went missing in a boat sinking tragedy in Kg Bangkalak on Thursday, has been discovered.
Beaufort Fire and Rescue Station Chief Muhammad Hasbullah Nenggok said the body was found by a villager some 3km from the scene of the incident at 9am on Friday.
District Police Chief DSP Ismail Abdullah said the body had been sent to hospital for an autopsy.
In the Thursday incident, the victim was said to have crossed the river using a boat to deliver goods, but the boat was found at 4pm without him.
