
BEAUFORT: The firemen had to be called when an almost one-metre long python was found in the engine bay of a vehicle that was to be sold at Kee Motor here on Tuesday.
Beaufort Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) Chief Muhammad Hasbullah Nenggok confirmed the incident, saying the BBP received an emergency call about the incident at 11.26 am Tuesday.
He said a team sent to the scene managed to catch the snake with a snake catcher.
“The snake has been released into its original habitat,” he said.
