KUALA LUMPUR – Actor, comedian and lyricist, Bob Lokman died today at his residence in Kubang Kerian, Kota Bharu, Kelantan.
His wife, Relawati Daud had informed their close friend Datin Marlia Musa at around 3pm.
"I was just able to get in touch with his wife and she confirmed the health officers were at Bob's residence to confirm his death," Marlia said when contacted by Awani.
Bob, or his real name, Mohd Hakim Lokman, is a legend in Malaysia's rock music industry.
He is also a lyricist of several popular songs, Isabella and Taman Rashidah Utama, among others.
It was also reported by Awani that Bob had previously been hospitalised for treatment due to heart complications.
The cause of death is still under investigation.
