KUNAK: The body of a 69-year-old Chinese man was found in a locked house in Lorong 5, Kg. Kunak Jaya here, Monday.
The head of Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM), Mohamad Omarbatha, said he received a call about a locked house at 2.56pm.
A team of Fire and Rescue personnel led by PBKII Operations Commander Rosman Gari rushed to the scene located 3km away.
“The Fire and Rescue Department received a call for help to open the door of the house and upon entering, there was an unconscious man inside”, he said.

The Fire and Rescue personnel opened the door of the house using special equipment and the victim was removed and confirmed dead by the hospital medical team who was also at the scene.
The victim was handed over to the police for further action. The operation ended at 5.46pm.
