
KUNAK: A 10-tonne Nissan lorry driver died after it skidded and fell into a ravine near a bridge at Ladang Sungang in Jalan Tun Fuad, Tuesday morning.
Head of Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM), Mohamad Omarbatha, said an emergency call was received at 10.33am.
A team of Fire and Rescue personnel together with an FRT machine and an EMRS vehicle led by PBKII Kamalrulzaman Roslie went to the scene of the incident, 12km from the fire station.
“The victim was trapped and extricated by firefighters and was confirmed dead at the scene by medical officers,” he said, adding that the body was handed over to the police for further action
