
Tuaran: The search for the teenager who drowned at Sungai Tuaran in Kg Telibong, Tamparuli, here, on July 8 came to an end with the discovery of his body some 100km away in Kudat, on Saturday.
The body of Mohd Hisham Iskandar Azli, 13, was found by the public at Kg Rukom beach in Kudat at about 9.10am – eight days later.

The search operation was expanded as far as 17.6km to Sabandar Beach with a strength of 80 personnel comprising police, Fire and Rescue Department, and the Civil Defence Force.
Earlier, more than 100 members of the public also turned up to join in the search along Tuaran River and Bolong River mouth at 8am on Saturday.
