Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly could be replaced as the club's chairman in the coming years.

Boehly has been the subject of fan ire over their lavish spending in the past two years.

Now The Telegraph states that Chelsea's owners can pass chairmanship of the club between themselves every five years.

Boehly may give way to someone else who is a part of the Clearlake Capital consortium.

Clearlake, owned by Behdad Eghbali and Jose Feliciano, will want to ensure their investment in the club is paying off.

Boehly has not been able to get results, despite sacking several coaches already.
