Borussia Dortmund coach Edin Terzic won't shut the door on signing Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo was offered to Dortmund last week.
Terzic said: "Sure, Cristiano Ronaldo is the biggest rumour ever at Borussia Dortmund. But we haven't commented on it and I'm not commenting on rumours."
Nevertheless, Terzic added: "Ronaldo is the greatest footballer I've ever seen play live."
Like GM Hans-Joachim Watzke, Terzic also refrained from a final public rejection of Ronaldo's transfer. The managing director had said on Friday: "I love this player, it's certainly a charming idea to see Cristiano Ronaldo play at Signal Iduna Park."
However, he then put it into perspective: “There is no contact at all between those involved. That's why you should stop talking about it."
