Bournemouth attacker Emiliano Marcondes says he followed Brentford's results last season.
Marcondes played for three years with the Bees.
He told bold.dk: "Of course I followed along. I have many friends who play on the team. I have been part of the club for 3.5 years.
"I know many of the players, and I have played with Mathias Jensen for many years - ever since I was 14 years old.
"It was fantastic that they came into a good shoal at the end of the season, where (Christian) Eriksen gave a good boost to the team, and they secured survival with a solid lead."
