Bournemouth caretaker boss Gary O'Neil says he's enjoyed his time in charge.

O'Neil will remain in charge for Saturday's trip to Newcastle United.

He said, "Don't think two weeks or however long it's been, it's definitely not long enough to make a big mark on a football team. I'm really just trying to work with them on bits we think are important.

"I hope to see bits of that on the weekend that we saw in Wolves and Forest games. I don't expect huge changes in two/three weeks but also that's not the remit. My job is to get them ready for each game, we're looking forward to it."

On Newcastle, he continued: "They are a very good side. It is a tough place to go. They are really aggressive. Play forward an awful lot and look to test you. I expect it to be physical. We will have to deal with forward balls, balls in box, threat from set plays. Expect them to be around top eight, no real doubts about that. Another big test for us but one def looking forward to."
