Bournemouth REJECTED Roma midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo on Tuesday morning.
Bournemouth had an offer for Zaniolo accepted by Roma last week and a delegation flew to Italy to speak with the midfielder.
But Zaniolo snubbed the meeting, with the Bournemouth party returning to England unimpressed.
Sky Italia's Gianluca Di Marzio has now reported Zaniolo changed his mind on Monday night and decided to accept Bournemouth's offer. A flight was even booked to take him to England.
But the Cherries decided not to move forward for a deal, believing they'd already invested enough in this January transfer window.
