Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke was delighted with their 1-1 draw with West Ham.
Solanke struck late to cancel out Jarrod Bowen's West Ham opener.
He later said, "We played well, especially at times. We could have got three points. A bit of quality on both sides [for the goals].
"I'm not sure if it was a cross or shot from Antoine Semenyo. I was ready to get on the end of it. I took it round keeper, nice finish.
"We played well. We created a few chances. We're still getting our sharpness up. I'm delighted. Last season I didn't geta goal for the first few games. I wanted to start off well this season.
"We've had a pre-season adapting. At times we showed what kind of team we'll be and we'll build on it.
"We've got a tough run coming up. We beat a few of the top teams in league last season so we'll take confidence from that. On our day we can beat anyone."
