West Ham defender Kurt Zouma admitted frustration after their 1-1 draw with Bournemouth.
Dominic Solanke struck late to cancel out Jarrod Bowen's West Ham opener.
Zouma said: "Tough game today. We could have done better for their goal but it's the first game of the season, we're happy to have a draw.
"Your legs feel tired on the first game of the season. They made it tough for us. We had another chance to score. It is what it is. We need to get a win next week.
"As soon as he [Jarrod Bowen] started kicking the ball I knew it was a goal. I was standing right behind him. I've seen him get better and better every game since I've been here.
"We deserved the three points today."
