
A four-year-old boy died after falling from the 15 floor of an under-construction building in Greater Noida, police said on Tuesday.
The incident took place on Monday at Tower D of Lohia Enclave Society in the Omicron-1A area under the Kasna police station limits.
Police identified the deceased as Ansh, son of Arun, a resident of Ballia district in Uttar Pradesh.
According to police, the boy’s parents, who work as labourers, were engaged in construction work in the building at the time of the incident, while the child was playing nearby.
“He died while playing on the 15 floor and fell from the balcony of an under-construction high-rise building,” police at Kasna police station said.
The body has been sent for post-mortem and further investigation is under way, police added.
