
TAWAU: A seven-year-old boy with disability (OKU) who was feared drowned was found safe and sound after a seven-hour search.
Muhammad Fakhri Afandi Muhammad Maulidin was found by villagers at 7.16pm on Sunday about 100 metres from his house in Kampung Jawa Lanut.
Tawau Fire and Rescue Department head Julius John Stephen Jr said the rescue operation ended at 7.52pm after the boy was found.
He said six firemen went to the scene after receiving a call at 4.20pm.
