
TAWAU: A four-year-old boy was found drowned, believed to have fallen into a water catchment in front of his house in Jalan Kuhara, near the Tawau Water Department pump house, on Monday.
The boy’s body was found floating in the reservoir by villagers a few hours after the incident.
The victim, Mohd Denel Zainal Abidin, was believed to have fallen while taking a shower.
According to Tawau Civil Defence (APM) officer Captain (PA) Japli Siping, a team rushed to the location after receiving an emergency call from the public at 5.25pm and found the boy dead.
