Boy George issues warning to band members who refuse to perform pro-Israel song

Boy George has warned that he will fire any members of his band who refuse to perform his pro-Israel track "We Will Dance Again."

The 65-year-old musician, whose real name is George O’Dowd, self-released the song to express support for victims of the October 7 attacks.

The song faced criticism over its lyrics, which feature the line: "You say genocide, I say war."

Addressing the reluctance of some musicians in his lineup during an Instagram video, the Culture Club frontman confirmed that some were uncomfortable playing the song live.

The Culture Club frontman, who is not Jewish, has recently voiced support for Jewish people.

“Over the years it’s been a really personal thing. It doesn’t mean that I don’t have compassion for Palestinians, it doesn’t mean that I agree with what’s going on in Israel, but I am always going to defend the people that I love," he told The Telegraph.
