Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe admits they paid for a poor first-half in their 2-1 defeat to Wolves.

Wolves led through Joao Moutinho and Raul Jimenez, and would face the second-half with an extra man after Simon Francis' dismissal. Steve Cook brought the hosts back into the game, but in the end it wasn't enough.

Howe said, "In the first half we weren't particularly good.

"They scored from two set plays and we're disappointed with the second one. The first one was sensational, but we're not very pleased with the second - we should have defended that one much better.

"In the second half, we were down to 10 men but I thought we were excellent. Arguably we deserved to get something from the game."
