Brazil are preparing a controlled environment for the 2026 World Cup, with plans covering player conduct, technology, family access, recovery and privacy during the tournament.

The setup is designed to keep players comfortable while maintaining focus during a long campaign in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Carlo Ancelotti named his 26-player squad on 18 May, with Brazil opening their Group C campaign against Morocco in New York/New Jersey on 13 June.

Brazil will have a manual of conduct during the World Cup as part of a wider plan to manage the players’ routine away from matches.

The measures include rules around mobile-phone use and social media, with the Brazilian Football Confederation placing attention on reducing external distractions once preparation moves into tournament mode.

Players are also expected to have rest scheduled for the day after matches. Family members will stay in separate hotels and will have a ticket allocation for games.

Brazil’s team hotel will be exclusive to the delegation, creating a more private environment around the squad.

Most activities at the training centre are also expected to take place behind closed doors, with reinforced police security planned around the camp.

The approach points to a preparation model based on routine and control, while still allowing players access to family time and recovery periods during the tournament.

Technology and base-camp planning form part of Brazil’s wider preparation

Technology will also form part of Brazil’s World Cup structure. The CBF plans to use scanners, sensors, high performance equipment and specialist support to monitor the players’ physical condition.

The setup also includes a chef for the squad and sports equipment designed to support performance during the competition.

Brazil’s base-camp planning is already in place. The team will stay at The Ridge Hotel in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, and train at Columbia Park Training Center in Morristown during the World Cup.

Brazil have been drawn in Group C with Morocco, Haiti and Scotland. Their first match is against Morocco on 13 June, before fixtures against Haiti and Scotland later in the group stage.

The 2026 World Cup will be the first men’s edition with 48 teams and will be played across Canada, Mexico and the United States.

For Brazil, the planning shows how much of a World Cup campaign now takes place away from the pitch. The focus is not only on training sessions and match preparation, but also on privacy, recovery, family arrangements, technology and the daily rhythm around the squad.
