Record world champions Brazil called Atalanta midfielder Ederson into their squad on Sunday after Wesley was ruled out of the World Cup through injury.

The defender was hurt in Saturday's 2-1 warm-up win over Egypt.

A scan showed a hamstring injury for the national team regular.

Ederson, 26, is on the brink of moving to Manchester United.
