The Election Commission (SPR) has finalized the important dates for GE15.
Nomination Day: 5 Nov (Saturday)
Early Voting Day: 15 Nov (Tuesday)
Polling Day: 19 Nov (Saturday)
This means political parties and their respective candidates will have at least 2 weeks for the campaigning process. The meeting to finalize these dates began at 10.05am today at Menara SPR, chaired by Tan Sri Abdul Ghani Salleh, the chairman of the EC.
GE15 will be different as only three states, namely Perak, Pahang and Perlis have so far dissolved their state assemblies to hold state elections simultaneously.
