Brentford boss Thomas Frank has defended their asking price for David Raya.
The goalkeeper has a year to run on his deal and Brentford are insisting on 40m to sell.
Frank said, "I hope he stays forever, but it looks difficult with his contract situation.
"He must cost at least 40m. If he had three years left on his contract, he would have cost 70m.
"What did Kepa (Arrizabalaga) cost? He is at least as good as him."
