Brentford boss Thomas Frank has dismissed talk of taking the Tottenham job.

Spurs crashed out of the Champions League on Wednesday after failing to overturn a one goal deficit from the first leg against AC Milan. They were also knocked out of the FA Cup by Championship side Sheffield United a week earlier.

It means that Antonio Conte, whose contract will be up at the end of the season, looks unlikely to stay at the North London club for much longer.

Despite speculation over the Italian's potential replacement, Brentford boss Frank distanced himself from the role.

"First, they have a manager which is a manager I have studied for years and I admire massively," he said.

"I think he has achieved some fantastic results so I hope he will do well and I hope Spurs do well. Secondly, I am very, very happy here at Brentford."
