Brentford midfielder Mathias Jensen admits he's chasing a World Cup place with Denmark.
Jensen hopes to do enough in the coming weeks to convince Denmark coach Kasper Hjulmand to take him to Qatar.
He told Bold: "It has been good to be away (with Denmark), but I have to admit that I would have liked to have played more, but the others are also doing well, I just have to say that.
"So it's the same boring song again, but it's about doing as well as possible at club level, so you can show Kasper that you're ready. Then it's up to him to decide if he wants to take one out.
"I don't know, it's up to Kasper to decide. I've been really happy to have been involved for two years, but I'm really hoping for it.
"I just have to keep working at the club and hope that my name is in the pot when Kasper finds the 26 names."
