Casper Nilsson is happy with his progress at Brighton.
Last season, the Swedish fullback was promoted to the U21 team and played 23 games in Premier League 2.
"I faced Lucas Moura from Tottenham. He played left forward so he ended up on my wing, but I think it went well," he told Sydsvenskan.
Last spring, Nilsson extended his contract to 2025, but says there was also other interest.
"My contract was about to expire and they wanted to sign for three and a half years, but I chose two and a half. It would be stupid to leave when things have gone so well and it's nice that they believe in me.
"Yes, there was (was there other interest?). At least there have been other Premier League clubs, that much I can say."
