Brighton are interested in signing Cole Palmer from Manchester City.
The talented youngster is likely to leave the Citizens on loan for the coming season.
Per The Athletic, the Seagulls have been talking to the treble winners about a possible deal.
Brighton would like to sign Palmer permanently, but a loan is still a possibility if City do not want to lose the youngster for good.
Another option would be to sell him for a modest fee and insert a buy back clause in the contract.
City have done that in the past, including the transfer of Romeo Lavia to Southampton.
