Brighton have made an offer for Boca Juniors wing-back Valentin Barco.
Argentine journalist Csar Luis Merlo is reporting Brighton have made a concrete offer for the 19-year-old.
According to Merlo, Barco has an exit clause of 9m.
The Seagulls are not alone in their interest in the left-sided wing-back.
Manchester City and Chelsea FC are also working on a deal for Barco. The Argentine U23 international can play on the left wing both defensively and offensively.
Boca would like to extend his contract, which expires at the end of the season, but so far their efforts have been resisted.
