Bringing luxury scent into the home

For many homeowners today, creating a welcoming space goes beyond choosing the right furniture, paint colors or decorative accents. Increasingly, scent is becoming part of the conversation, transforming fragrance from a finishing touch into an essential element of home living.

That idea took center stage at SM Aura Premier in Taguig City, where luxury home fragrance brand Hiessence unveiled its line of European-designed smart aroma diffusers before a crowd that included Marian Rivera, Ellen Adarna, Isabelle Daza, Liz Uy, Max Collins, Kris Bernal, Kira Balinger, G22 member AJ Yape, Seth Fedelin, Kai Montinola and Tim Yap.

More than a product launch, the gathering reflected a growing interest in creating homes that appeal to all the senses. Guests explored a collection of diffusers and fragrance oils designed to bring long-lasting scents into living rooms, bedrooms, offices and other indoor spaces.

For Hiessence co-founder Nice Sanchez, the brand was born from a personal appreciation for how fragrance can influence daily life.

“Honestly, as a co-founder, I can say that I am also the right target market because I absolutely love everything about home perfumes,” Sanchez said.

“When my partners and I started talking about it, I was so excited from the very beginning. I knew that just like us, there are so many people out there who love coming home to a space that smells wonderful, especially after a long, tiring day.”

She added that the goal was to create products that make wellness feel less like a task and more like an experience.

“That feeling of walking through your door and being wrapped with your favorite scent is exactly what Hiessence is all about. Every diffuser we’ve designed, every scent we’ve curated has been crafted with love and intention, because we want people to experience wellness not just being a routine, but as a feeling.”

Joining Sanchez in the venture are co-founders Zen Go and Michael Cordovia. Together, they developed a range of smart diffusers that combine European-inspired aesthetics with practical features such as rechargeable units, adjustable diffusion settings and quiet operation.

The collection includes European-inspired scents with names referencing Paris, Provence, Milan, Berlin, Lisbon and Barcelona. The brand also offers candles, fragrance kits and curated scent collections designed to suit different lifestyles and interiors.

Although unable to attend the launch, actor-host and restaurateur Matteo Guidicelli was cited among the product’s users, alongside celebrities Ruffa Gutierrez, Alden Richards, Barbie Imperial and Adarna.
