The FIFA World Cup 2026 will introduce a halftime show at the final for the first time in the tournament’s history. Organised by FIFA and Global Citizen, the landmark performance will be curated by Chris Martin of Coldplay. Beyond entertainment, the show will also support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, an initiative aimed at expanding access to education and football opportunities for children around the world.

Malaysian fans can watch the FIFA World Cup 2026 final, including BTS‘s performance at the halftime show, through platforms operated by RTM and Unifi TV.

According to sources, Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil confirmed that all 104 matches of the FIFA World Cup 2026 will be available through RTM television channels, the RTMKlik streaming platform and Unifi TV.

Fans who prefer streaming can watch through RTMKlik, while Unifi TV subscribers can access the tournament through dedicated FIFA World Cup channels:

When will BTS perform at the FIFA World Cup 2026 Final?

The FIFA World Cup 2026 Final will take place on 19 July 2026 at New York New Jersey Stadium.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 3:00 pm. ET, which translates to 3:00 am MYT on 20 July 2026 for viewers in Malaysia.

Since the halftime show will take place during the match interval, and taking into account injury time added after the first half (if any), BTS is expected to perform between 3:45 am. and 4:15 am. MYT on 20 July 2026, alongside Madonna and Shakira as part of the first-ever FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show.
