BTS sells out two-night Bulacan concert stop

MANILA, Philippines — BTS' return to the Philippines is set to be one of the country's biggest concert events in recent years after tickets for the K-pop supergroup's two-night Bulacan stop in March 2027 sold out across all sales phases, from fan club presales to the general public sale.

Live Nation Philippines announced Thursday that all available tickets for BTS' concerts at the Philippine Sports Stadium on March 13 and 14, 2027, have been sold.

The general sale opened at 11 a.m. on June 11 and quickly sold out, following the ARMY Membership presale on June 9 and the Live Nation Philippines presale on June 10. Tickets offered during both presales had also been fully purchased before the general sale began.

The concerts are part of BTS' "Arirang" World Tour, which kicked off in South Korea in April in support of the group's comeback album of the same name released in March.

News of the sellout prompted celebrations across social media, with fans sharing screenshots of their successful ticket purchases while others called on organizers to add a third concert date to accommodate demand.

BTS is composed of RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook. The seven-member act remains one of the most influential groups in global music, credited with helping bring K-pop further into the international mainstream.

Aside from the upcoming tour, BTS is set to release the single "Come Over" on June 12, followed by the music video for "Merry Go Round" on June 19. The group is also scheduled to headline the iHeartRadio Music Festival in September.

The upcoming concerts will mark BTS' first Philippine performances in nearly a decade. The group last staged a solo concert in Manila in 2017 as part of its "The Wings Tour.”

Since then, BTS has continued to expand its global reach through chart-topping hits such as "DNA," "Mic Drop," "Dynamite," "Butter" and "Yet To Come." The group has earned multiple Grammy nominations, topped music charts worldwide and become one of South Korea's most recognizable cultural exports.
