MANILA, Philippines — Global K-pop phenomenon BTS is set to return to the Philippines in 2027, marking the group’s first concert in the country in a decade.
Its label BigHit Music revealed late Tuesday the dates and cities for the upcoming BTS world tour on their official social media pages, confirming that Manila is included in the itinerary. The group is scheduled to perform on March 13 and 14, 2027.
Concert promoter Live Nation Philippines said details on the venue and ticket sales will be released at a later time.
“SAVE THE DATE! BTS WORLD TOUR is officially coming to MANILA! Venue and ticketing information will be announced on a later date. Follow Live Nation PH to get more details,” wrote Live Nation.
BTS last performed as a complete group in Manila on May 6 and 7, 2017, when they brought their “BTS Live Trilogy Episode III: The Wings Tour” to the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
The 2027 shows form part of the group’s world tour following the completion of their mandatory military service, making the announcement especially anticipated among Filipino fans, known collectively as ARMY.
While the group has not held a full concert in the Philippines since 2017, at least one member has returned in recent years. In April 2025, J-Hope staged a two-night solo concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena as part of his “Hope On The Stage” tour.
BTS debuted in 2013 and consists of seven members: Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jung Kook. Over the years, the group has built a global following with music that spans hip-hop, pop and disco-inspired sounds.
Among their most popular and widely recognized songs are “Butter,” “Boy With Luv,” “Dynamite,” “Fake Love” and “Permission to Dance.”
