Kota Kinabalu: Top Developer for township development, Datuk Susan Wong Siew Guen, has submitted her development plan (DP) for a township to the Tuaran District Council for approval.
“The land area for this next project in Tuaran will have the same concept as my project in Benoni, Papar, The Parklane City and Benoni Commercial Centre (BCC).
“It will involve about 100 acres but will need some time to be developed. I am looking at it possibly by end of next year (2025).
“I need to finish the whole development first in Parklane City such as constructing the upcoming condominiums, landed terrace houses and commercial shoplots at the site,” she said.

Speaking to reporters after attending the Sabah Housing and Real Estate Developers Association (Shareda) Pesta Angpow Luncheon, here, Susan who is also the WSG Group Managing Director said she plans to build condominiums in the upcoming project in Tuaran.
“This is to enable the residents to see and enjoy sea view from their high-rise buildings.
At the same time, potential buyers would have a choice whether to buy condominiums costing about RM350,000 or terrace houses for those who can afford to buy them costing about half a million ringgit each.
Susan, who is also Shareda’s honorary advisor, said she supported solar-powered houses to be built in projects proposed by Shareda’s President Datuk Chua Soon Ping.
“I believe housing in future will have solar infrastructure that could save on electricity bills.
“However, a study needs to be carried out first because installing such solar- powered panels on the houses would involve extra cost that might be included in the house prices,” she said.
