Burnley are being priced out of a move for Georges Mikautadze, manager Vincent Kompany has confirmed.
The Clarets are keen on the Metz striker, who has been capped nine times by Georgia.
However, the French club are demanding more than the Championship club are willing to spend.
"It is a difficult one," said Kompany when asked about the striker byLancs Live.
"There are some players that are out of our range financially.
"For us it is a player who is probably out of our range."
