Fulham and Brighton are speaking about a permanent move for striker Neal Maupay.

The attacker is in the final year of his contract at the Albion.

While he is admired by manager Graham Potter, the club do not want to lose him on a free transfer.

Sky Sports reports that Fulham will have to pay up to sign him this summer, as Brighton do not want to do a loan deal.

The only way such a deal could happen is if Maupay agrees to extend his Brighton deal by another year.

The source adds that Fulham are also pushing to secure Justin Kluivert from Roma.
