Burnley have explained to season ticket holders their decision to advertise for a stadium 'drummer'.
The Clarets are seeking a drummer to help improve the Turf Moor atmosphere - a move that has left season ticket holders insulted.
The club has since sent out an email explaining the move: "We are writing to you in connection with a recent advertisement for a drummer.
"This has caused a lot of speculation and feedback from people with different opinions has been heard. At the end of last season, Vincent Kompany asked the fans to turn Turf Moor into a 'fortress'. "Despite that call, most supporters will agree that the atmosphere at Turf Moor this season has been very poor.
"With that in mind, we are approaching you, the season ticket holders, for suggestions on how we can collectively improve the atmosphere on match days. We are open to hearing any suggestions so that we can get the Turf Moor Roar back. We must ensure that our team hears and feels your support for ninety minutes and longer. We welcome your suggestions on how we can best achieve this. Let's bring the noise!"
