Burnley are pushing to secure Scottish centre-back Jack Hendry this summer.
The defender plays for Club Brugge, but may be tempted by a move to England.
According to the Daily Mail, manager Vincent Kompany needs to bring in a senior defender to shore up his back line ahead of the new season.
They have put in an offer for Hendry, while they are close to signing Brazilian right-back Vitinho from Cercle Brugge.
Kompany is putting his knowledge of the Belgian league to good use to get these deals done.
Both players are ones he knows from his time as manager of Anderlecht.
