Pursuant to the report where it was reported that Zetrix AI Bhd failed to remit a sum of RM314 million to JPJ under the contract between JPJ and Zetrix AI Bhd, Perkeso reportedly issued a statement on 5 October 2026 to state that Zetrix AI was not involved in collecting mandatory contributions under the Employees' Social Security Act 1969 (Act 4 / LINDUNG Pekerja).
In the statement, Perkeso also states that because Zetrix AI never collected social security funds on Perkeso’s behalf, Perkeso stated there are no issues of outstanding, late, or withheld contributions involving the company.
The statement by Perkeso did not address and it sidestep the issue of concern i.e is the appointment of Zetrix AI Bhd involved them collecting contributions from the public on behalf of Perkeso.
The statement by Perkeso merely states that Zetrix AI Bhd was not appointed in collecting mandatory contributions.
It did not, however, addressed and confirmed that Zetrix AI Bhd was appointed to register and collect contributions from those voluntary registrants under the LINDUNG Kendiri (Self-Employment Social Security Scheme) nor LINDUNG Kasih (Housewives' Social Security Scheme), where both are voluntary contribution schemes.
As per the public announcement by Zetrix AI Bhd to Bursa Malaysia on 16 April 2026, page 1 of the announcement under Obligation, Zetrix AI states that they are required to professionally manage registration and contribution processes for the SelfEmployment Social Security Scheme and the Housewives’ Social Security Scheme, including timely submission of contributor data and documents, immediate processing of registrations and payments, full remittance of contributions to SOCSO, prompt reporting of issues, maintenance of proper records, bearing of operational costs, and attendance of training or programmes as required by SOCSO.
For the appointment as an agent of the Self-Employment Social Security Scheme, the Agreement shall be effective for a period of thirty-six (36) months, commencing from 18 March 2026 until 17 March 2029.
For the appointment as an agent of the Housewives’ Social Security Scheme, the Agreement shall be effective for a period of twelve (12) months, commencing from 18 March 2026 until 17 March 2027.
The Agreement may be extended by either Party upon written notification to the other Party not less than one (1) month prior to the expiry date of the Agreement, or terminated by Perkeso for whatsoever reason.
As both LINDUNG Kendiri (Self-Employment Social Security Scheme) nor LINDUNG Kasih (Housewives' Social Security Scheme) are voluntary schemes, registration and contribution for both schemes are VOLUNTARY.
And for those who choose to register VOLUNTARILY, they have to register and pay the annual contribution to Zetrix AI Bhd who is the sole registration and collection agent for the voluntary schemes LINDUNG Kendiri (Self-Employment Social Security Scheme) and LINDUNG Kasih (Housewives' Social Security Scheme).
Effectively, Zetrix AI Bhd was appointed and authorised to collect social security funds on Perkeso’s behalf only for those who are registering voluntarily and under both Lindung Kendiri and Lindung Kasih schemes.
Unless Bursa Malaysia views that any additional information would not help the investing public in making an informed decision on the future of this company, the investing public is hoping that Bursa Malaysia directs Zetrix AI Bhd to reveal and disclose publicly the details on the appointment of Zetrix AI Bhd in registering and collecting the contribution from all those voluntarily registrants under both Schemes especially their contractual obligations in remitting government collections daily eg within how many working day of each transaction and their undertaking in ensuring that the data are protected and privacy are maintained.
