Cabinet lineup to be announced at 8.15pm - PM

SHAH ALAM – The much-anticipated unveiling of the new Pakatan Harapan unity government cabinet lineup is expected to take place at 8.15pm tonight.

On a Facebook post, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said that he would announce the lineup tonight.

“InsyaAllah, at 8.15pm tonight I will announce the new leadership of the Unity Government Cabinet,” the post read.

Earlier, it was announced that the Cabinet lineup would be announced at 5pm through press conference which would also be broadcasted on Facebook and other official social media platforms.

However, after about an hour wait, the announcement was postponed to tonight.

Following an election in which no coalition received a simple majority, Anwar was sworn in as Malaysia's prime minister by the King last Thursday.
