
BEAUFORT: Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (Star) Beaufort parliamentary coordinator Jin Tze Vun has urged party leaders and members to remain united and focused on serving the community.
Jin said residents in the Beaufort constituency continued to face socioeconomic, development and environmental challenges.
He urged party members to stay close to the people and work together to address their concerns.
“Many of us have been involved in politics for a long time. Our main objective is to serve the community,” Jin said.
“We must continue providing the best possible service and work as one team.”He said their experience in serving the community and government remained valuable in bringing positive change.
Jin held a working meeting with three division chairmen, the division Women’s Chief and the P178 Sipitang parliamentary coordinator, recently.
The meeting at The Gem Hotel in Beaufort focused on the party’s future direction, grassroots organisation and public service.
“Star has been established in Sabah for more than a decade and its growth is the result of the dedication and sacrifices of former leaders, members and supporters,” he said.
Jin thanked former Beaufort division chairman Aliapa bin Osman for his contributions to developing the division and strengthening the party.
He also welcomed his appointment as Star Klias division chairman and coordinator for the P177 Beaufort parliamentary constituency.
Jin pledged to strengthen unity among members, engage more closely with residents and advance the party’s mission.
Participants discussed organisational development, membership and plans for future programmes.
Jin said cooperation among divisions was crucial to strengthening the party and improving services.
He assured members that their views, suggestions and concerns would be conveyed to the party’s top leadership.
Jin expressed confidence that unity, cooperation and commitment would strengthen Star Beaufort and enable it to better serve residents and contribute to the constituency’s development.
