Kota Kinabalu: Sabah United Chinese Chambers of Commerce (SUCCC) President Datuk Michael Lui urged all, including private business enterprises in the state to fly the Jalur Gemilang and Sabah flag to show their patriotism.
“The Merdeka Spirit conveys the freedom of the people from any negative factors when interpreting the patriotic spirit from the aspects of thought, social and economic integration, which formed a strong, harmonious and progressive unity of the people.”
Michael said the theme “Malaysia Madani: Jiwa Merdeka” represents the historic unity in a developing and progressive nation that encompasses a diverse, united and strong-spirited population.
