Kota Kinabalu: The State Tourism, Culture and Environment Ministry is willing to provide more financial support for the annual Sabah Hospitality Fiesta if the event attracts more international participants and tourists.
Officiating the 23rd Sabah Hospitality Fiesta 2023, held for the first time on a large-scale at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) on Saturday, its Minister Datuk Christina Liew replied positively to the organiser’s call for government assistance to internationalise the premier food and beverage (F&B) event.
The two-day event, themed “My Cuisine, My Culture”, is jointly organised by the Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH) Sabah/Labuan Chapter and Asian Tourism International (ATI) College, with 325 contestants showcasing their various hospitality industry skills.
