In a speech in Seremban recently, Khairy Jamaluddin reportedly said only the 14 assemblypersons from BN defended the Malays in Negeri Sembilan.

Can Khairy be more specific on what were the issues that threatened the Malays in Negeri Sembilan that necessitate the 14 Assemblyperson from BN to defend?

That there were vigorous objections to them being appointed to the boards of GLCs and government agencies, a practice that was prevalent during the 50+ years that BN was governing the country?

That the Malay elites in Negeri Sembilan were targeted and investigated under the anti corruption drive by MACC?

The jailing of Najib?

Or the recent issue where UMNO trumpeted loudly that it was them that defended the state's royal institution, the traditional chieftains (Undang), and Adat Perpatih customs whereas the Mentri Besar was sidelining the state’s customary institutions?

How could UMNO claimed they defended the state’s royal institution when The Negeri Sembilan ruler, Yang di-Pertuan Besar Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir, refused to meet with UMNO and Barisan Nasional (BN) leaders following their decision to withdraw support for the Menteri Besar?

To speculate that The Negeri Sembilan ruler is upset with UMNO and the 14 Assemblypersons who suddenly withdrew support for the Menteri Besar and then try to replace him with their own nominee is an understatement of the year.

To turn this around - pulling support from a sitting Menteri Besar—and subsequently rebrand it as a valiant act claiming that the 14 assemblypersons defended the Malay community is a form of ingenuity worthy of a degree from Oxford University.

Khairy also accused the Mentri Besar of Negeri Sembilan of being powerless and under DAP's control.

In 2018, upon being voted in, the narrative that was going around was that Dr. Mahathir Mohamad was controlled by the DAP.

The response from Dr Mahathir, who said he is insulted and the absurdity of the claim by noting that DAP only held 6 out of 28 cabinet minister positions during the Pakatan Harapan (PH) administration and it was mathematically and practically impossible for 6 ministers to dictate terms to the other 22 ministers should put this nonsensical claim to rest.

In later reflections, such as his appearance on the Keluar Sekejap podcast, a podcast started and owned by Khairy, Dr. Mahathir admitted that he and the DAP were merely "using each other.

Maybe the Mentri Besar of Negeri Sembilan was also using DAP and vice versa.

Similarly for those who repeatedly claimed that DAP dominate and control the government, only 5 ministers in the Malaysian cabinet of 32 ministers are from DAP, they are just showing their stupidity and absence of common sense to expect the ordinary rakyat to believe that 5 Ministers can dictate terms to 27 other Ministers from different political parties.

The ordinary rakyat rest their case.

While waiting for Khairy Jamaluddin to provide the ordinary rakyat on which are the issues in specifics that put the Malay rights in N Sembilan at risk.
